Story: Axel Brass was born on January 1st, 1900. It seems that there have been several powerful people in the Wildstorm Universe born on that date. They all share great power, intelligence, and near immortality. Jenny Sparks, "The Spirit of the 20th Century" died on Jan 01 2000. She is the only one of these individuals to drop dead at 100. Of the rest, John Cumberland, a.k.a. the High, was killed when he attempted to attack the Stormwatch Weatherstation. The others still are about and they seem intent on meddling with the world from behind the scenes. Axel was a hero back in the day (30's and 40's). He and his cohorts created the Snowflake, a computer that could affect reality. All but he perished battling seven strangely familiar heroes from another universe. He is currently recovering with the secret organization, The Planetary. He is an unabashed copy of Doc Savage.

Appearance:
Axel Brass looks alot like the pulp hero Doc Savage. He has a large, powerful physique, red hair, cut very short, and tends to wear a white jumpsuit that is often shredded during his very strenuous life style. Right now, after being wounded and atrophying for 50 years, his legs are shriveled and barely able to support his weight. However, I personally believe this will pass.

Height: 195 cm (6'5"), Weight: 111 kg (245 lbs), Sex: Male, Age: 101, Race: Human
