Ecology: The homoncluous is created through artificial means, using a complex alchemical process. As such, the creatures are sexless and cannot breed. They are alive, however, and do require food, water, and sleep. It's said the homoncluous is only a minor demonstration of the process that creates such creatures. Larger, more human-like creations can be made, but the process takes some time, and the results are usually less than stable.

Personality/Motivations: A homoncluous does whatever its master desires it to do. Since there is a permanent Mind Link between the two, a homoncluous's master will often send it out to scout the terrain ahead or to deliver a small object.

Powers/Tactics: In general, the homoncluous tries to avoid combat. If pressed, the creature will bite, aiming for bare skin (such as a hand or the neck). It has two long fangs and can inject a venom that will quickly render a target unconscious.

Appearance: A homoncluous is a tiny humanoid only 18" tall. It has greenish, vaguely reptilian skin, a bat-like face with a bulbous nose, pointed ears, fangs, and two bat wings on its back. The creature walks on its hind legs and can manipulate small objects with ease.

Designer's Notes: The homoncluous is a interesting little creature. Some of it's powers (such as knowing what the magician who created it knows) are hard to define in HERO terms, especially if all one is doing is creating a blank template. The best suggestion is for a GM to customize this design with Skills and Psychological Limitations for a specific homoncluous, as each should be different in personality and abilities
