Background/Personality: M & M (“Em” to his friends) began life as an experiment in chocolate longevity. Just as chocolate that wouldn’t melt was developed back in the ’50s, the scientists at a secret chocolate research facility discovered that chocolate could be given a nearly immortal shelf life by introducing certain amino acids into its chemical mixture. The staff of small orange men labored for years, creating long-lasting chocolates. What they didn’t expect is that, after enough years of life, the larger M & Ms actually gained sentience.

Em was originally thought to be some sort of candy golem, and was hounded by the frightened populace for weeks before his gentle but sarcastic nature revealed him to be nothing more than a candy without a home.

Since then, Em has worked with the small orange scientists who created him, bringing the message of chocolate candies to the world.

Attempting to reproduce their earlier success, the scientists successfully created a green “mate” (Emma) for Em, and the resulting offspring of Mini-M&Ms has proven abundant, if chaotic.

Quote: “Have a face full of chocolates, lame-brain.”

Tactics/Powers: Em is a large chocolate candy with a circular frame. He can change his outer coloring to red, brown, yellow, green, or black.

He carries a can of Mini-M&Ms, which he can fire like a bazooka. Dozens of tiny candies will gather in a cloud-like formation, then speed toward their target pelting his area with chocolate scattershot.

Roleplaying Notes: Jon Lovitz meets Danny deVito.
