UniForge Character Creator

UniForge

This program is a character assistant designed to work with many of Eden Studios' lines of Unisystem* games including their Cinematic games (two of them based on TV shows). Other supported games include All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Armageddon, CJ Carella's Witchcraft, The Mystery Codex, The Abomination Codex, and the Book of Hod*. For help using any part of this program, use the menus on the left by clicking the link to the information you need.

Unisystem is a set of rules for roleplaying games. This document assumes the user is familiar with roleplaying games and the terminology associated with it. For example, most people who play table-top roleplaying games such as these know that the generic term, "GM" refers to a Game Master. Different games have different names for a person in this role, such as Storyteller, Referee, or Director. They all mean the same thing; this is the person who is in charge of creating adventures and designing the overall campaign theme for a game. Everyone else is considered a "Player", which is someone who plays a character in the GM's game.

How to Get UniForge

If you run Windows XP or 7, or Mac OS X 10.3 and newer, UniForge may be just the program for all your Unisystem character needs! The program may work under older Windows and Macintosh operating systems, but the author has not tested UniForge against these systems. If you wish to try it at your own risk, you may do so. If you have good results, contact the author! He'd love to hear how it works on older systems, though we can't make any promises that he'll modify the program to combat flaws in old systems that may prevent some of the features from working.

If there are those of you who wish to get a copy of the Linux version of this program, contact the author for an untested beta version of UniForge to try out. We have no test systems running Linux, so be warned! The Linux version is at your own risk! Linux versions of UniForge require the GTK 2 or better libraries to be installed.
